Sponsor a Christian Pakistani girl to be a doctor

Hi, my name is Dr Danijela Schubert. I have lived and worked in Pakistan for four years together with my family. I have nurtured friendships for over 20 years, supporting the Christian community in helping educate young people, especially girls who are the most disadvantaged when it comes to education. Currently, a bright young woman has a dream that seems almost impossible in the circumstances she faces: she wants to become a medical doctor and needs admission and tuition fees for the first year of study. She has studied hard so far and has good grades. There are many who want to study at the New International College of Nursing and Health Sciences in Lahore, and unless we are successful in raising sufficient funds urgently, she will miss out and other applicants will take her place.

I have already helped financially over the past several years, as well as this year and even this week. However the needed amount is too large for me to cover, so I am seeking help from friends and family around the world to assist in securing her entrance to university and the first year of tuition.

We need the funds immediately, so she doesn't waste a year waiting for another opportunity that may not come.

A little (or a lot) from many will make this burden on one much easier to bear. My husband and I are also personally committed to contributing together with you, and the wider community.
