Spiritual Sickness is a docuseries coming in the late Spring, early Summer 2018. This docuseries will have 5 episodes that aims to address the opioid epidemic in the African American community in Philadelphia, PA. Highlighted are issues with the treatment facilities and programs, the criminal justice system, the pill industry, government funding, medication assisted treatment, the political and financial gains, overdose rates, the affect on the family and community and many other topics. The goal of this docuseries to raise awareness regarding the opioid epidemic and targets to educate adolescents and young adults on the dangers of prescription drugs. This docuseries will also shed light on the spiritual aspect of addicition and ways to free your soul.

Featured in this documentary will be various scholars to help with articulating thier experiences working with the drug and alchol population.  Also featured will be ex drug dealers, recovering persons, current persons suffering from addiction and children and family members of those who have been affected by addicition by way of a loved one.

Proceeds from this campaign will help with acquiring the projector, backdrop for the projector, a van to help with the travel and interviewing of persons in active addiction. Proceeds will also help secure the venue for premeire and the flash drives and dvd's for the series. Proceeds will also help fund additional dpcuseries regarding mental health and other related neurological disorders.
