Spirit Animals Ultimate States Trip
Donation protected
The Spirit Animals ultimate frisbee team has been around for over 20 years and has always been a group of hardworking students just wanting to play some frisbee. Recently we got a new coach, Thomas Cook, who has helped us rebuild the team into a states level team for the first time since 2010.
This season we have played in 4 tournaments throughout the spring against other local teams, culminating in the Philadelphia City Championships last weekend. We finished 9th in the city with wins against Methacton and Masterman and close losses versus Radnor, Haverford, and North Penn, qualifying for the State tournament.
This will be the teams first appearance at States since 2010, and we could really use your help. We would use any funds raised to pay for the $400 tournament fee, as well as the hotel rooms and travel costs needed to bring our 21 man team to Pittsburgh for a weekend. The tournament is Memorial Day weekend so this is fairly urgent, but we know with your help we can get it done! Any amount helps and if you can't donate please spread the word!
