The Millers : Brain Injury Support

Just over a year ago Spenser suffered a traumatic brain injury. It has left her with diminished communication skills, severe pain, memory loss and in a wheelchair. Some of these issues have some room for recovery, but most will remain with her. She struggles daily as life is no longer the same, yet she fights on with determination and pride.
Her spouse works full time and they have minimal nursing care. The medical system is currently failing them miserably and they cannot, on one income, afford the items she needs to live comfortably as any human deserves. As she tries to navigate a home not set up for her disabilities there are accidents happening that are impeding her healing and threaten to make her condition worse.
Some items needed are a hospital bed, shower/bathroom safety implements, ramps and other assorted medical devices.
I hope together we can raise some funds to help Spenser find some relief.
Spenser is a 20 year military veteran, she is an avid animal lover and has worked and volunteered with both wild and domesticated animals. She is a giver and a lover and would provide the shirt off her back to help a fellow human whether family, friend or stranger. Those that know and love her know what an amazing person she is. Let’s stretch our humanity muscles and help out someone who really needs a hand up right now.
