On Friday, September 28, 2018, Patrick and Serena Hill was faced with a mother and father's worst nightmare. Their 6-year old son, Spencer Hill, couldn't walk or have use of his hands. After many scans and many tests, the neurologist has diagnosed him with Acute Flaccid Myelitis (AFM). It is a rare condition that has been diagnosed in less than 300 children in the United States. Spencer's condition started after a common cold. Two weeks after having a common cold he began losing mobility in his hands, his fingers and in his legs. His immune system has attacked the nerves and muscles in his arms and his legs. They are transporting him from Erlanger Children's Hospital to Children's hospital in Atlanta, Georgia for intensive impatient rehabilitation. Due to extensive stays at hospitals, we would like to raise funds for Patrick and Serena Hill to help pay expenses while out of work. Say a prayer for this family and their precious little boy.
