Speech and Debate Trip to Nationals

Hello! My name is Kristy Bixler, and I am the head Speech and Debate coach at Sentinel high school this year. Our team had a great season, and we qualified seven students to attend the National tournament in Louisville, Kentucky this year! In addition, Hellgate High School also had a fantastic season, qualifying seven students to participate in the tournament in Louisville.

 

This tournament allows our students to compete on a much larger and more competitive scale, so it is an excellent opportunity for our teams to learn and grow their speaking skills.

 

Traveling to Nationals naturally comes with several associated costs, including air travel, accommodations, food, and more. For both of our teams to travel to Louisville for this tournament, we will need to raise nearly $20,000.
