Specific Harvey Relief

Hurricane Harvey has left devastating effects on Texas with thousands of lives in chaos. I live in Houston and was one of the lucky ones that came out with no damages. Thousands of people are affected by this disaster and I left it feeling helpless in where I can provide aide. So I decided to set this fund up to help 2 specific hard working families in my community that have been affected by Harvey. Their lives are being displaced but they won't ever ask for help, even in times they need it most so I have set up this fundraiser without them knowing. The goal I set out for this fund will be used to assist with whatever demolition, rebuilding, furniture and temporary housing costs they will need. It won't cover all of those items listed but at least will give them a good starting point to get back on their feet. I will withdraw whatever has been collected and hand it to each family on September 17th. Once they receive the donation, I will update everyone and hopefully they will be willing to provide photos at that time of what they used the funds for. They are going through a lot of distress right now so I am trying to be respectful of the family's privacy and for that reason, ask that you only pass this along directly to friends and family versus using social media. Every little bit will help them out during these tough times, your care for these families is so very appreciated, thanks everyone!
