On the second of march, my mom’s best friend Linda got diagnosed with metastases bone cancer. She is currently going under treatments, but cancer cells damaged the bones in her right upper arm so badly to the point she can barely use her right arm for basic everyday activities. In past few months it has gotten so bad that she is at a high risk of breaking her arm if she is not careful enough.
Cycling has always been Linda’s biggest passion and source of happiness. This year, she was planning to participate in a cycling tour to collect money for a charity. This charity collects money for research and to create a medicine against cancer. But because of the unfortunate situation it’s physically impossible for her to do so.
This is the reason why I’ve set up a gofundme. There is a special bicycle available created for people who have issues with their upperbody or arms like Linda. But sadly this bike is really really expensive.
Please consider donating, even if it’s the tiniest bit. Every single bit helps and brings us closer to our goal so she can hopefully start cycling very soon again.
