Stories That Need a Voice

Tax deductible

Please join me, dedicated veterans and the WWII Foundation in making a difference by funding the production of this exciting and historically significant documentary film.

In a time when freedom is being challenged it is vital to continue to educate and remind the world of the lessons learned by the dedicated men and women who stood up in the face of overwhelming odds to protect freedom during WWII.

There are few stories more dramatic than the harrowing story of Merrill's Marauders. A film to be narrated by television news icon Tom Brokaw.

This production focuses on one of World War II’s most heroic and least talked about units.

Merrill’s Marauders fought in Burma in 1944-1945 under the legendary Frank Merrill.

Merrill’s Marauders were all volunteers who specialized in “hit and run” tactics in the jungles and mountains of Burma. They were not supplied very well and had to use mules to move from place to place to carry what supplies they did have. The Japanese always thought the 3,000 soldiers were actually a group of 15,000 plus due to their success of being everywhere at every time and because of the damage and casualties they were able to inflict.

In 2021 the Marauders will receive the Congressional Gold Medal. What they did was miraculous considering the environment in which they fought and the enemy they fought against.

Please help me in raising the budget to fund this production produced by the WWII Foundation.

All donations will help preserve this vital piece of history and ensure the all volunteer Merrill's Marauders tireless dedication will remain as a cornerstone of the character of those who fought for our freedom.

Every person who donates $100 or more will get their name in the closing credits of the film.
