Help Teresia

I am raising money for a very special four year old girl called Teresia who was born with Spina Bifida and lives in Nairobi, Kenya. Teresia's condition means that she walks uncomfortably on two very weak legs with an obvious and painful curve in her spine and cannot control her bowels or bladder. Although she has a very loving and supportive mother, she was not given good medical care as her family are extremely poor and cannot afford the right specialist medical care.
After a botched operation Teresia now has many complications and without medical care, will need to wear nappies for the rest of her life. Due to her condition and subsequent complications she was seen as a 'burden' by society and was rejected by multiple schools.
Teresia's Mother gets support from the charity I-Afrika, who provide Teresia with education and her future in terms of education looks bright however, as her family cannot afford to keep buying nappies for her or buy her a specialist mattress nor see a trustworthy doctor we fear Teresia's condition may deteriorate without a corrective operation or funds to help uphold support from her family and school. I have setup this page to raise funds to pay for Teresia's nappies until the family can find her the medical support she needs.
