Spay/neuter clinic, Corozal, Belize

Donation protected
My name is Sue Paoletti. I am the President of Corozal Animal Program

Each January we hold an annual spay and neuter clinic in a village close to Corozal, Belize where they don't have a vet.   Vets and vet techs come from Montreal, donate their time,  pay for their flights and dinners.   We raise money for vaccinations, supplies, collars, leashes, accomodation and food.
In 2018 we fixed 80 animals in two days.  We have more vets and vet techs coming in 2019 and intend to fix 100 animals.

The clinic is for Belizeans only.  We charge each person $2.50US, if they can afford it which pays for their animals to be vaccinated and fixed.  Each dog gets a new collar and leash (most of them come in with rope or wire around their necks).

The before and after picture is Candy.   George found her in a hole in the road in June 2017.  She weighed three pounds and had probably been thrown out of a car because she still has scars on her face.   She was lucky - we  kept her and she is now a happy little doggie.  But others are not so lucky and we want to prevent unwanted kittens and puppies living a sad life.

Thank you so much for your support.
