Spartanburg Disaster Relief

Donation protected
On February 6th, Upstate SC was devastated by a tornado that affected many Spartanburg residents and local businesses.

If you'd like to help, one of our agents, Amy Humphries family's church Covenant Baptist Church of Spartanburg, SC is working with Red Cross to be used as a shelter for anyone in the community whose homes have been affected and need a warm place to stay.

Families are already starting to show up with items they could grab out of their house, as well as some arriving with nothing. These are some immediate needs for these families. The most vital, would be clean clothes, and we've listed other items below:

Towels

Wash cloths

Toiletries (small sizes)

Toothpaste

Toothbrush

New underwear for men and women

Adult diapers

Clothes (some arrived in wet clothes)

Children’s items

You can donate these items and deliver them directly to Covenant Baptist Church at 200 Evangel Rd. Spartanburg SC 29301.

As a team we have also created this campaign to raise the funds to help these families and others in the community get back on their feet and offset the costs associated with the recovery. We set this GoFundMe page for anyone who would like to donate and all proceeds will be donated toward supplying items needed for those families as well as toward helping other organizations and charities in our community in this time of need.

Thank you,
Austin Young  -- thinking of our community and appreciate your support + prayers!
