On the evening of September 25, 2017, our daughter's friend from school woke up to find his home on fire. His family lost everything, including their 15 year old dog, and only made it out of the house with the clothes they were wearing.
While the most important thing that matters is that they made it out alive, the fact is that they will now need to find a new home, replace all of their clothes, furniture, and all other items of comfort. For that reason, I put together this page to help his family account for the costs of finding a new home to rent (we all know how expensive the intitial deposits can be), and to hopefully help in replacing most of the items lost.
I cannot imagine what a complete loss like this would be like, and my heart truly goes out to the Spalding family. Please consider donating to help them get back on their feet and rebuild their lives.
Thank you so much!
