SPACE TIME audio visual equipment

SPACE TIME is an arts collective in San Diego that cultivates the creation and presentation of time-based artworks. Since July 2016, we've presented events with brilliant artists, working with sound, performance, and moving image.

Much of the equipment we use is contributed by our small crew and is insufficient for the scope of events we present. 98% of door/bar proceeds  have gone directly to the artists. The money we've put up for rentals has been our own. We'd like to purchase a few urgent items, so that we don't need to rent or borrow equipment.

These items will further enable us to present performances, music, film and video works. We believe that the best culture in San Diego should not be relegated to the academic institutions; that there should be more representation of historical and avant garde media art, as well as an opportunity for contemporary artists to present new media works to the larger art community.

The Space Time events have been very well attended, even surprising us. We deeply appreciate the support we've received and feel encouraged by the enthusiasm of the audiences. This equipment is a big step toward our long-term goals. We hope to expand our programming to include the best artists and performers San Diego has to offer, while also giving a home to audiences seeking artworks that are underrepresented in San Diego.
