South Harlem Reds Cooperstown 2018

Since 2000, we have been going to Cooperstown Baseball World. We are scheduled to go this year as a 16u team on July 22. We were 1st able to go because of a scholarship given to us by the late Eddie Einhorn, one of the owners of the Chicago White Sox.  Since then we have received both full and partial scholarships. The trip this year is $915 per player/coach. We are working towards reducing this to 1/3 to 1/2 of the price. Yes players and their family still have to lay out money, but your support reduces the amount they have to pay.
This is the 51st year since our 1st team. What our Alumnus has accomplished is great. From Emory Cohen, an actor who was the co-star in "Brooklyn", to Dr. Wands Watson, and Jose Rosario currently @ AAA Ipowa Cubs, 1 step from the major league..The Competition at CBW afforded us the experience to beat 12 yr old 6'1" Dellin Betances in the 2000 OLS Championship series, who is now a member of the NY Yankees.
