S.O.S. SKINDOODLE TATTOO - Centralia, WA

Hi, my name is Mike Cristina from Skindoodle Tattoo in Centralia, WA. Skindoodle Tattoo opened in Centralia, WA 1994. Located at its first location on Tower Avenue until the beginning of 2012, making it Lewis County’s oldest established tattoo studio. After taking some well-needed time off from tattooing, I decided it was time to resume my career as an Artist.

Skindoodle Tattoo opened for business at its original location. Still, after being open for only six weeks, the building was sold to a new owner, causing the need to move to a different location.

I rented a shop space at Yard Birds, put everything I had into building a lovely Tattoo studio, and opened it in the middle of March 2022. After being open for five and half months, the power company cut off power to the property at the end of August 2022, locking all shopping mall tenants from their businesses. The power has been off for three months. This came as a surprise to us as we were not forewarned.

Our only form of communication from the property owners was when we received an eviction notice after being locked out of our business for 60 days. The eviction notice demanded that we vacate within 30 days. It is now the beginning of December 2022, and the power has just been restored, but we are still required to vacate.

After not working since the end of August 2022, I have zero monies to rent another studio, as building two shops within the same year back-to-back has depleted my financial resources.

I am reaching out with great hopes for community support to be able to continue my career as a Tattoo Artist. I want to thank everyone for reading this and for any help in advance.
