Campaign COVID-19 BENIN - AMERICA (French below)

The current international pandemic crisis of COVID-19 has already afflicted and killed thousands of people worldwide.
According to the forecasts of experts and the World Health Organization (WHO), the SARS-cov2 virus responsible for this pandemic will continue to ravage the world, particularly in Africa, in the coming weeks and months.
Aware of the limited resources available to African countries in general, the local and regional associations of Beninese in the USA, represented through BENIN DIASPORA USA and the High Council of Beninese Abroad(HCBE), Section USA and the Caribbean, despite our own disarray on the ground in the face of this crisis, would like to ask you to help deal with the potential health and humanitarian disaster that our country could face in the near future.
With your support, we will be better prepared to provide relief to our brothers, sisters, and parents left back home. The recent appeal for aid from the Beninese government on the subject can already serve as a forecast of the anticipated magnitude of the needs felt.
Your financial or material participation will be welcome to donate medical equipment such as protective masks, vials of hydroalcoholic gel, hand washing racks, and if possible the purchase of a respirator that will serve not only in the current crisis but also, long after in our health system on behalf of our diaspora.
We take this opportunity to also ask for the help of American peace corps volunteers, the historical diaspora(African Americans) having a direct affinity to our beautiful country Benin and all other benefactors and philanthropists in our hemisphere with the human condition at heart.

La crise pandémique internationale du COVID-19 qui sévit actuellement a déjà affligé et tué des milliers de personnes au niveau mondial.
Selon les prévisions des experts et de l’Organisation Mondiale de la Santé OMS, le virus SARS-cov2 responsable de cette pandémie continuera son ravage à travers le monde, plus particulièrement en Afrique, dans les semaines et mois à venir.
Conscientes des ressources limitées dont disposent les pays africains en général, les associations locales et régionales des béninois aux USA, représentées par l’entremise de BENIN DIASPORA USA et du Haut-Conseil des Béninois de l’Extérieur (HCBE), Section USA et Caraïbes, malgré notre propre désarroi sur le terrain face à cette crise, voudraient vous solliciter pour aider à parer au potentiel désastre sanitaire et humanitaire auquel pourrait faire face notre pays.
Avec votre soutien, nous pourrons nous préparer à supporter nos frères, nos sœurs, et nos chers parents laissés au pays. Le récent appel à l’aide du gouvernement Béninois sur le sujet pouvant déjà nous servir de prévision sur l’ampleur anticipée des besoins ressentis.
