Sophie's Cancer Treatment

I was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer in March 2017.  After meeting with traditional oncologists and radiologists and surgeons, who only offered the traditional chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery, I've decided to treat my cancer a different way.  I've done extensive research, and I've decided the best way for me to treat this is through integrative medicine.  I'm going to be a patient at an integrative cancer treatment center in California called the Cancer Center for Healing.

The entire cost of treatment is much less than traditional cancer treatment of chemo, radiation, and surgery.  However, insurance does not cover alternative/integrative treatments like this, so I will need to pay out of pocket.    Also, I will need to find a place to stay in California near the clinic for 4 weeks, which adds to the expense.  

I will need to pay for my treatments weekly, every Monday, for 4 weeks.  The first week will be the most expensive, as I will be getting a blood analysis test called R.G.C.C.  This blood test will analyze circulating tumor cells and circulating cancer stem cells in my body.  This will cost several thousand dollars.

I will be starting my treatment on Monday, July 10.  The entire cost of treatment at the Center will be approximately $20,000.  I am also going to have a procedure done called cryoablation, which targets the tumor, at a different clinic in California. This will cost approximately $5,000.
