Sophie's campaign for Downton Band

This Christmas holidays I've decided to try and raise money for Downton Band by swimming a half marathon................that's 844 lengths! Due to pool opening times and family events, there are only 8 swimming days available, so it's a big ask! I've been a part of Downton Beginners and Training Band since 2016 and also now sometimes join in with Jubilee Brass. My sister, Mum and Grandma also play in the band which is really fun and pretty cool too! So now it's my turn to give something back. Please sponsor me!

More information about Downton Band: The Downton Band, founded in 1873, is a traditional brass band based in Downton, Wiltshire. Through 4 separate bands, we are able to provide opportunities for players of all ages (6 to 80+) and abilities from complete beginners upwards to learn brass instruments and to perform at a variety of gigs from summer fetes, concerts and competitions. We also loan instruments to players and provide tuition at very low costs. We are constantly in need of funding for tuition, new instruments, music, etc.
