Hi everyone! This is Sydney, Sonya’s daughter:) For those of you that aren’t sure why I am doing this, here goes nothing....
My beautiful mama, Sonya, was diagnosed with stage 4 HER2 positive breast cancer back in December 2016. When we found out, the future seemed so impossible...all of a sudden she was given the wrost news of her life and sent home to deal with it. But for those of you that know my mom, she’s a fighter, she wasn’t going to give up. With the support of our family, friends and loved ones, anything seemed possible. We’ve tried and continue to try many different treatments, both traditional and alternative therapies, but by far we’ve found most success with alternative medicines.
My mom and I took a trip to a hospital in Tijuana, Mexico back in September 2017. During her 3 and a half week stay at CHIPSA as an inpatient, she and I learned so much ..and might I mention, it was the best she had felt in over 8 months. Finding CHIPSA was a blessing, it was truly a life changing experience for both of us! We were able to work on the wellness of her mind, body and soul with some of the most inspriational people we’ve met. Unfortuantely, since we have come back it’s been a slow decline but she’s staying as strong as she can during a hard time. The reason I have started this go fund me page is to raise money to get my mom back to CHIPSA! Honestly, anything would help, doesn’t matter what it is...if you aren’t in a place to help us out financially, please send us some love and positive vibes!
