Sonoma Fire Victims - Garcia Family
Donation protected
Sonoma handyman Samuel Garcia woke up on Sunday night to find that his neighborhood of Glen Ellen was burning. In the dead of the night, he had to grab what he could and flee with his wife and fourteen year old son. One of the first families evacuated in the deadly Northern California fires, they barely escaped with their lives.
They lost everything-- their home, two cars, clothing, and absolutely everything that was left behind. They had rented their home, and they did not have renter's insurance.
This family needs money ASAP to purchase food, clothes (especially for the fourteen year old), and rent; they will not be able to stay in their current place permanently.
My name is Elizabeth Gonzalez, and I'm a teacher at Sonoma Valley High School. The fourteen year old is one of my students. He is a wonderful child, a great student, and deserves the opportunity to bounce back quickly.
Please donate to help this child and his family get back on their feet.
