We and so many others want desperately to do something that will help Ryan, Robyn, Gage (7) and Jayde (4) during these unimaginable circumstances - dealing with the devastating affects of Ryan's brain tumour and cancer. This GOFUNDME campaign has been set up by a community of people who Robyn has always been there to encourage and cheer on with her amazing smile, super positive / tough as nails attitude. We know there are lots of people who love and want to help this family - please share this with them.
Robyn recently ran the Columbia Icefield 17.1km leg in a Banff to Jasper race raising money to help find a cure - this is what she wrote a few short months ago (she helped to raise nearly $5000 for the cause):

As most everyone knows we have been greatly affected with Ryan's Diagnoses of his Brain Tumour February 2013. The past year has been the most challenging. As after the original Diagnoses he was able to return to work and we seemed to resume back to some sort of normal for about 1 1/2 years. Last August that took a sudden turn when we were hit with the news that Ryan’s Tumour had changed. After a major Operation to remove a portion of the tumour, recovering and finding out it was Stage 3 Cancer a new journey would begin. He then completed 7 weeks of radiation/chemo and now in his 6th month of full dose chemo. Let me tell you this is not easy nor fun in anyway. We struggle everyday trying to find our new normal all awhile putting smiles on and carrying on with day to day activities with the kids. While I am running I will be thinking of the path our family has had to go down the past two years and what our path may look like and what I dream it will look like for us in the future. I will be running in memory of a dear friend, neighbor and beautiful mother of 3 who just lost her battle to brain cancer this past April and every other person who is affected by Brain Tumours, as the impact on the patient and family members is immense.

Unfortunately, since she wrote these words they have discovered the treatment isn't working and Ryan has a new tumour on the other side of his brain. Robyn is now unable to work while she spends precious time with her husband and 2 small children. We would love to see what we can do as a community to make 100% sure her attention can stay exactly where it needs to be.
