Somme to Sheffield Charity Bike Ride

Donation protected
The South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Armed Forces Network plan to raise money for the Firefighters Charity and the Royal British Legion this year, by cycling the distance from the Sheffield Pals Memorial in Somme, France, to South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Headquarters in Sheffield, approximately 394 miles on five static bikes running through the day.

The event will take place at Crystal Peaks shopping centre in Sheffield, S20 7PJ on the 2nd of November, between 0900 and 1730. It would be amazing to see lots of people there supporting our efforts.

We will be collecting donations and splitting the proceeds equally between both charities, charities that are close to us as Firefighters, Veterans, Reservists, Cadet Volunteers and our families.

Any donations will be hugely appreciated, and will go along way to helping firefighters and veterans through difficult times such as injuries, mental health and other challenges that can affect them and their families.
