Some Dance Screen Fest Fundraiser

Some Dance Screen Fest is a bi-annual Dance Film Festival, presented by P.L.A.C.E. Performance which features local, regional and international short dance video works (between 3-12 min) in various dance styles. The event will take place on June 25, 2022, at our proposed venue, The Box theater, located in downtown Riverside. The event will have an in-person screening of featured works and a virtual screening for increased accessibility.

As part of this event, the P.L.A.C.E. Production team will be awarding a Mentorship Program to two local dance artists. The program is designed to help artists in their development and creation process by offering filmmaking guidance and providing two camera operators, video editing and sound composition for each mentee. The mentorship is awarded to artists who lack the resources to create the work independently.
