Solar Panels for CNPS

As part of our Inquiry solution at Coburg North Primary School, the Grade 4 cohort are organising a fundraiser called ‘Solar Day’, a whole school celebration of renewable energy sources and being an energy efficient school. Our aim for this fundraising is to raise money to increase the number of solar panels at CNPS, and to empower the school community about how to reduce their energy consumption. 
The quote for solar panels on our new building is $68,000 for a 100k/w system. This cost we hope will partly be subsidised with grants such as Vic Solar and local community grants, however we will be relying heavily on donations.
