Sol Abroad Spain!

Hi my name is Sami Corning. I have always had the dream to study abroad, explore a new country/culture, and learn a foreign language by being fully immersed in it. Sol abroad is a great program designed for high school students to do just those things. Last summer I was home bound due to my brother having a huge surgery and because of family expenses I had to stay home. My mom wishes she could pay for the trip, but she dedicated herself to public interest law and my dad retired this year. This upcoming summer I really need to get out and explore. Sol abroad will be a once in a life time experience to learn a new language, be independent away from my family, and learn about a new culture. I will be living in Granada, Spain and living with a local host family. I will attend Granada University for 3-4 hours a day during the weekdays. On weekends I will go on excursions, such as visiting Madrid and the high Sierra Mountains. I would greatly appreciate any donations you could make to make my study abroad dream come true!
