Sock Drop 2017

A quick story of where we began...

A small bunch of us decided that we wanted to start a charity project for homeless people a few years ago. We found a wholesaler that sold Heat Tech clothing (insulated clothes) and thought we could buy some stock and then we could take trips into London to deliver 'Sock Drop Kits' ( 1x Hat, 1x Gloves & 1x Socks) to those sleeping rough on the streets.
To our surprise we had lots of people who wanted to help out, either by donating money or by helping us to wrap and distribute the kits.

We hold a wrapping event each year where we wrap the items up as festive presents over November/December in time to get them out during the coldest time.

This year we want it to be bigger and better so we've set up this page to raise some funds and we plan to include toiletries and feminine hygiene products in the kits this year.

Each kit costs us £5 for one pair of socks, gloves, a hat and toiletries. Obviously we are not making any profit on this so don't worry - all your money will go to buying more kits!
