Hi everyone,
My name is coach Billy Pocan. I am the head boxing coach for the Soaring Eagles Boxing Club. We are a long standing Boxing Club from the Oneida/Green Bay WI area. We have trained amateur state and regional champions. We provide a safe place for children of all ages to come and learn self-defense, self-confidence, structure, self-respect and respect of others. We provide encouragement to the kids we train, not only in athletics, but life in general.
We plan on going non-profit soon after we are able to find a new home for our boxing club. We have been on the look out for the past year, but either the place is to far out of budget, to small, or the landlord will not let us modify the space to suite our needs. We finally found a place near Oneida, just off of Hwy 172. But we will need as much help as we can get from our community. We need help with the first and last months rent, moving trucks, some construction supplies, and hopefully some updated training equipment. Such as speed bag platforms, boxing gloves for kids to use, used treadmill, a new ring canvas.
