Monty Dayman, Leptospirosis fund
Station Officer Monty Dayman is a professional
firefighter with the QFES assigned to Nerang Station.
Monty is a Technical Rescue instructor responsible for the training of firefighters in the swiftwater/floodwater rescue disapline.
Upon a recent trip to the swiftwater training facility (Tully River NQ) Monty contracted Leptospirosis (a waterborne bacteria) which has seen him admitted to the ICU at The Gold Coast University Hospital where he has been in an induced coma on full life support.
Monty is showing small positive signs towards a successful recovery. However the road ahead is still somewhat unknown.
Monty's three kids and wife Nic are overwhelmed with the amount of support that has been shown and thank you for all the kind messages.
Your donations will help our mate Monty focus solely on his recover knowing the financial side is being looked after by his colleagues and friends.
