For over a decade, learners at SNTHS have been participating in the California Forestry Challenge, a competitive event for high school students in technical forestry and current forestry issues.
At Forestry Challenge, our learners wrestle with current forestry issues, searching for unique solutions which they propose to professional foresters to be taken into consideration. (Their ideas have been implemented in the past!)
This year, we would like to take 14 learners to the El Dorado Forestry Challenge, October 25-28. We are partially funded through grants (sadly, less than previous years), but need help in fundraising the remaining $3024 for the competition and travel costs.
Please help us send our learners to this fantastic educational opportunity!
