Hello Friends!
Those of you who know me understand that I am not one to ask for help. Last week I tearfully said goodbye to my home of 12 years in the Florida Keys and evacuate with only my dogs and a car full of my belongings. FEMA now estimates that 25% of the homes in the Florida Keys have been destroyed by Hurricane Irma and I was crushed to receive visual conformation that my home was completely destroyed by this devastation storm.
It was never part of my plan to start over at 60, but I am trying keep a stiff upper lip and pull together resources to formulate both a short-term and long-term plan. I will use donated funds to secure housing somewhere right now while I try to buy an RV to live in.
I appreciate your help and thank you all for the continued outpouring of love, support and prayers. I promise that even though I may not be able to pay anyone back, I will continue to pay it forward.
