Sneakers4Grads' goal is to reward 100 graduating scholars attending P.S. 1 Courtlandt School in the Bronx with brand new sneakers. In response to the needs of students, Team First is raising funds to support P.S. 1 scholars graduating in June with brand new sneakers, care packages and, hot meals. When underserved youth are rewarded and receive the resources they need, they are more confident and excel academically.

The latest enrollment data collected as part of NYSED's Student Information Repository System (SIRS) reveals that 99% of the students who attend P.S. 1 Courtlandt School are economically disadvantaged and, 23% are homeless. Your monetary gift will forever change a scholars' future. Financial support ensures that we reward deserving scholars' achievements with a wide range of resources that empower them. The mission of TEAM FIRST, Inc. is to help academically and/or economically disadvantaged students to complete elementary, middle, and high school on schedule and go on to complete college or some other post-secondary education. Through a broad range of academic and social support services, we provide our students with a solid academic foundation that will enable them to succeed in school and life. Most importantly, our goal is to inspire students to become critical thinkers, lifelong learners.
