Snack Jack™ Farmers' Market Startup

Snack Jack™ is the world's first plant-based jerky that looks like meat, tastes like meat, and even bites like meat! Help me launch my product in farmers’ markets! This is the first step in a much larger plan.
Step 1: Launch my product in two local farmers’ markets (a Saturday and a Sunday market) in Austin, TX by December of 2017. That's where you come in!
Step 2: Expand to an FDA-approved commissary kitchen so I can open online sales (SnackJackJerky.com, Thrive Market, Amazon, etc.), sell to local retailers (Peoples Rx, Wheatsville Coop, JuiceLand, etc.), and sell across state lines!
Step 3: Approach the big guys (Whole Foods Market, Sprouts, Central Market, Target, etc.)!
More about Snack Jack™ I wanted to create a product that heavy meat-eaters and vegans alike would enjoy. My product is different from other vegan jerky brands in that it truly is just like meat jerky. In fact, to be sure, I tested the product strictly on meat eaters! I sent samples of the product to friends and friends of friends across the country — meat-eaters, deer hunters, people who really love their meat. Each time, I received the same response: they insisted they were eating meat jerky and they were befuddled when I told them that it was plant-based. They didn’t believe me. That’s all the confirmation I needed. I’d finally created my dream.
I didn’t stop there though. After months of recipe trials, after I’d finalized all of my recipes and gotten them down to a science, I scrapped them all. I went back to the drawing board, determined to make an even more inclusive product! I’m proud to say that Snack Jack is now 100% gluten-free and soy-free! Anyone on a restrictive diet knows what a rarity it is to find meat and vegan snacks that are gluten-free and soy-free. Now just about anyone can enjoy Snack Jack!
