Joe Sutliff: one of the world's most caring, sincere and generous people you will ever meet. On Sunday, March 27, Joe was in a tragic car accident on Garfield Bay Rd. in Sagle, Idaho. Leaving the scene of the accident, Joe had no feeling from his mid-chest down.
Upon arrival at KMC, we learned that Joe had a complete spinal cord injury, and would be in surgery for hours to come. In the hours since, we have found out that Joe is paralyzed from the just below the neck down.
Joe works at Burnett Transmission in Ponderay, and is always willing to help out where he can. He is an amazing father to three boys, Luke, Carson and Trevor. To say the least, Joe is a determined and ambitious person, and while this might be a hard obstacle to overcome, there is no doubt that he will get through it. However, that does not mean he has to do it alone, we can all help!
Joe is a highly involved member of our community, and so far the community has done so great with loving and supporting him. So lets just keep doing that! Between medical bills, physical therapy, and everything in between, tragedies like this can become very expensive, and this family has enough to worry about as it is. So lets do our best to show them how much we care.
We have had an abundance of love and support thus far, and there is no doubt that love and support will continue. We cannot thank you all enough.
