Fred Astaire Dance Studio has been a part of the Morristown community for over 13 years Over the years, our studio has made a point to involved with the Morristown community. It has been our pleasure creating relationships, connections and memories with local organizations and the other small businesses that make Morristown the special place that it is.  We never hesitate to support local initiatives through fundraisers, sponsorships and donations, and have enjoyed sharing our performance talents, whether at a school event, nursing home or town-wide festival. 

At Fred Astaire Dance Studios, our passion is helping to enrich lives – physically, mentally, emotionally and socially – through the positive, transforming power of dance.  The benefits of dancing extend beyond the dance floor and have the ability to improve our lives and overall well-being.

Our studio is a family-run business and we have two small toddlers at home to care for.  As a non-essential business we were forced to close in March.  Right away we made the decision not to have any lay offs, and have protected our team members at any cost, sacrificing our own income and pushing our family’s needs aside in order to support them.

Since we've reopened, fears and financial losses continue to discourage new and returning business.  We are unable to offer any of our popular socials or open house events that would normally stimulate business. The cancellation of many weddings has also damaged a season of considerable business we have come to rely on.

It is our philosophy that dance is vitally important to one’s overall well-being -- now more than ever before. Experts recommend incorporating both mental and physical stimulation into your regular routine. As you may already know, during times of stress and anxiety, dancing can provide an escape from life that keeps us calm and sane in the midst of our sometimes chaotic lives.

We truly appreciate any support we receive. We are optimistic and looking forward to sharing the power of dance for many more years to come, and your generosity will help us continue bringing dance to as many people's lives as we can.
