Emergency Car Payment

Well folks, Emily Basson's car has finally died. It has been costing her maintenance since the day she bought it and the payment to get this weight off her shoulders is about $1350. Meaning she'll have to pay that much for a car that's going to the dump before she can begin finding the money for an alternative vehicle. Some of us have been there before and know how unfair that situation is. So here's what I'd like to say:

I've never know someone as freely generous with her time, resources, and heart as Emily.  Chances are, she's gone out of her way to visit you and lift your spirits; whether that was to Devon PA or to Maine. And every time she did, she hauled that FLYING DUCHMAN hundreds of miles for the sake of her friends. If any of you have ever felt the warmth of that sacrifice, I urge you to donate. If you've ever taken a sunset ride or a midnight "crive"... you know who you are and you've spilled your guts on the passenger seat of that white lightening nightmare. If 30 of us give 50 bucks, we can do it. We can all make the effort to say thank you to this wonderful young spirit for all she has done for us. We can all begin to show her, she taught us this love: this generousity. We can all show her we were listening.
