SLS 2020 Catholic Retreat

Hey everyone!
As a few of you know, I am currently attending the University of Southern Mississippi, and while I've been there, I have encountered an organization called FOCUS, the Fellowship of Catholic University Students. FOCUS works to help college students like myself grow in their faith life and develop leadership skills to be more effective in transforming our culture and society for Jesus Christ. Last year, I was able to attend SEEK, which is a similar conference that is presented by FOCUS biannually, which moved mountains in my life by helping me grow spiritually and personally.
This January, I have the special opportunity to attend SLS20, a Catholic conference in Phoenix, Arizona, which is presented by FOCUS. This five-day event will provide me with so many opportunities:
-Growing in my love for Jesus and the Catholic Church
-Spending time with bishops, priest, religious, and thousands of other college students from around the country
-Hearing from prominent Catholic speakers as they discuss pertinent issues
-Learning practical ways to engage my fellow college students and how to live my faith in my future career
I am so excited about SLS20. I have goal of $650 to offset some of the cost of registration, hotel, food, and transportation to and from Phoenix. This means I need 30 people to assist me with a gift around $20 to $30 but ANY contribution means the world and is greatly appreciated. Most importantly, I am asking for prayers as I continue on my journey with Christ. Any contribution you can give towards this cause is greatly appreciated.
