Sky's Fight Against Cancer

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Wyatt and the beautiful girl in the picture above is my fiancée and my cornerstone, Sky. When Sky and I first got together, she had just undergone and recovered from her first surgery which was initially to remove a grapefruit sized tumor next to her left kidney but the surgery turned out to be much more complicated. The tumor turned out to be cancerous and had basically consumed her entire kidney, so along with removing the tumor, the surgeon also ended up performing a partial nephrectomy (removing about 3/4 of Sky's kidney). After her surgery, the doctors were very confident that they had found and removed all of her cancer and that the worst was finally over. Well about 6 months later, after having a routine maintenance check up done, Sky was struck with bad news again - the cancer was back and this time it had spread from the remaining piece of her left kidney and into her lymph nodes so back to the operating table she went. They ended up taking the rest of her kidney out, leaving her with just one and also removed the nearby infected lymph nodes, six in all. Within the short period of time that Sky and I had been together before she went in for her second surgery, Sky had showed me a love that I had never experienced before. She has shown so much strength and has remained the positive and wonderful woman that I fell in love with, and as her cancer progresses and she struggles to survive this battle, my ultimate goal is to continue to take care of her and her son Braxson, who I absolutely love and look at as my own. As of now, about 2 years since her last surgery, the cancer is back (for a third time) more aggressive than ever, and has metastasized into the bones of Sky's spine, a place that doctors can no longer go in to remove. Due to the specific nature of Sky's type of cancer (Stage 4 Papillary Renal Cell Carcinoma) typical treatments, such as chemo and radiation, are not available and with surgery no longer an option, Sky's most recent prognosis is very bleak and even though the doctor has given Sky's life expectancy to be approximately 2-3 years, I refuse to believe this and will not accept that as the fate for the love of my life. I will continue to help and support her for as long as I have her in my life and will continue to try my best to financially support our family of three. With unpaid bills racking up and things getting shut off every other week, the amount of stress that it brings to our already overwhelmingly stressful situation is really beginning to take its tole on our spirits, so I'm humbley asking for any amount of donations to go towards our living expenses and with Christmas right around the corner with a four year old (not so) patiently waiting to open presents, anything given to our family is very much appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read our story and we appreciate all of the help we have been receiving.
