Dear Friends and Family,
My beautiful, smart and talented sixteen year old granddaughter, Skylar was born with bilateral cleft lip and pallet. She has undergone nine surgeries plus orthodontic work. She is finally nearing completion of her ongoing craniofacial work. Her next surgery will align her top jaw with her bottom jaw, which means she will have to have it reset. Her mouth will be wired shut for six weeks. THIS WILL BE HER MOST CRITICAL SURGERY!
Although her parents have health insurance, they need $6,000 to pay their deductible before her surgery can be performed.
She would like to have the surgery performed during the summer so she will be able to go back to school looking prettier than ever for her senior year, so we would like to have all funds raised by the end of May.
