Our dear friends’ lives tragically changed on Tuesday April 2nd.
Sky, Hamid, Yalda and Saorise lost their beautiful home in a house fire. Thankfully everyone is safe, including Hamid's mom who was heroically rescued from the blaze by a brave neighbour. While everybody is physically safe and unharmed, all of their possessions from basic toiletries to irreplaceable art, books, kids’ toys and memorabilia from their travels and lives are gone. Their house has been categorized as a total loss and will have to be razed and rebuilt from the ground up.
Sky and Hamid are some of the most hospitable, generous and kind people who have always helped a hand in need. They are also among the strongest people, thriving after times of adversity in their lives. They are now being tested again. Let us come together now to show our love and support for this family.
The donations collected from this campaign will help provide immediate relief and support for their current needs such as food, clothing, school supplies, toys, etc. Thank you for your consideration and support.
