SkyBlue Kennels Pandemic Relief Fund

The pandemic has hit the dog boarding industry tremendously hard.  SkyBlue Kennels has loved and cared for the dogs of east and central Austin for four years, and the facility itself has been an Austin institution for forty years.  Cactus Pryor opened the doors in the 70’s, and we took over with the goal of providing the best care for Austin’s furry kids: huge yards to run in multiple times a day, zero breed restrictions, and constant love and care in extra large, climate controlled kennels.

The pandemic has quite literally reduced our business by a whopping 90%.  We rely heavily on Spring Break, warm weather, and the summer holiday season, to survive the slower fall and winter months.  That has all been wiped away.   Without help, our future is looking extremely bleak.  We are asking you for help today, to ensure that we can continue pursuing our passion for outstanding animal care, for years to come.  With the money raised, we hope to cover AT LEAST the next three months of operating costs.

We know that EVERYONE has been impacted, and every cent counts, now more than ever.   Any help is extremely welcome.  We love our loyal clients and our eastside Austin friends and family, and we want to be here, covered in dirt and fur and dogs, for as long as we possibly can.  THANK YOU.❤️
