Maloney Family Storm Damage

On Monday, August 13, 2018 Mother Nature came thru Birdsboro, Pennsylvania in not a nice way at the least.  I am setting up this page to help Rhonda and her son Alex that have unfortunately been affected by this storm.  During the storm, the rain came down so hard that their basement flooded with water and sewage.  They have both lost so much in this storm and not only are they dealing with the cost of the cleanup and repairs but also lost all their personal contents.  I know that there are many families that go through hardship but to me this friend is going thru all of this not knowing how she will recover over $10,000 worth of damage.  Insurance is only covering a small portion and she is facing having to buy a new washer, dryer and freezer. They have lost so much from their home and to hear Rhonda tell me she could salvage two of her sweaters that had meaning to her but lost everything else was so devastating.  I know she is the first person to help anyone else out when in need.  Even on this darkest time, she continues to smile, stay strong and be positive.
