Meet Steven. One of the first people in my YBL classes. One of my reasons why I pursued my career and one of the nicest people I’ve ever met.
Before lockdown; Steven loved playing football; training with mates; you name it - he’ll do it. Such a lovely, friendly guy, would help any way he can and so supportive of everyone around him.
During lockdown; Steven was initially diagnosed with depression and anxiety but he knew these diagnosis were wrong: he was shaking 18 hours a day; experiencing constant ear ringing; burning sensations; extreme emotional disturbances; crippling anxiety and at his worst; bed bound and unable to function at all.
Steven had spent £25,000 on medical testing and treatments. Most treatment failed and his chronic illness was just getting worse.
Eventually he was diagnosed with:
Late-Stage Lyme Disease and Biotoxin illness, along with a co-infection of a second strain of bacteria from the lyme called Bartonella.
There is no curative treatment in the UK.
Not many people get treated at all and most just take medication to help with pain.
However; after research; there’s hope. There is one proven treatment in Germany at Klinik St Georg that has had incredible results for eradicating Lyme completely.
This treatment is unfortunately very expensive, approximately £30,000 pounds.
Here’s what I’m asking.
Please help. Please.
It’s such a huge amount of money for anyone to raise. But together; I really think we can help.
