SKIN The Movie

When a socially awkward Midwestern woman inherits a San Diego porn studio, she plans to take the money and run -- back to her reclusive existence --until her dead father and a band of misfits force her to face her fears, and learn that misfits are people too.

SKIN is really about a woman forced to move far outside her comfort zone, find an inner strength she forgot she had, realize that being a “misfit” is actually a good thing – and learn that some people should just keep their clothes on.

SKIN is a 40 minute "long short" indie film shooting in San Diego on a micro-budget. The stellar cast and crew are mostly donating their time, or accepting a token payment, because they have faith in the project.

All of the equipment is donated. The small budget is mostly to pay for location fees, food, transportation and other essentials. The goal is to have the film completed before the end of 2018 to enter in Academy Award Eligible film festivals.  Help us make this touching quirky comedy a success story.
