Help send the 2017 Skim USA team to represent the USA at the 2017 Internacional de Skimboard in Santa Cruz, Portugal!
Skim USA is a youth-focused organization dedicated to promoting the growing, sport of skimboarding. This non-profit organization seeks to raise funds to send four members of the 2017 Skim USA team and a coach to Portugal to represent the United States at the 2017 Santa Cruz Ocean Spirit, an international festival consisting of water sports competitions including surfing, bodyboarding, windsurfing, and skimboarding, among others.
The Skim USA Team members are skimboarding athletes at the top of their games, both in and out of the water. The Skim USA board of directors selected these athletes based on style, attitude, and performance.
Representing the United States in Portugal would give this elite group of young amateur skimboarders the opportunity to take the sport to a higher level, showcase their unique talent and skill to an international audience, and build pride and confidence in themselves and their abilities.
