Skatepark Shade Sails in memory of Kaleb

On Monday, October 19th, at seventeen years old, Kaleb was taken from us in a tragic car accident.
Anyone who knew Kaleb knew that you could find him most days on his skateboard or outside chilling at the park. Many members of the community have reached out to ask what they could do to help during the family’s time of mourning. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made towards Shade Sails for the two parks he frequented most. One in Colorado Springs, where he recently moved from, and one in Tucson, where his family just retired from the military and where his parents grew up.
This GoFundMe will be the only official collection for this fundraiser. The parks we are collecting funds for Shade Sails are Memorial Park in Colorado Springs and The Purple Heart Park in Tucson, Arizona.
With these funds, the family hopes to purchase Shade Sails. Shade Sails are devices that create outdoor shade based on the basic technology as a ship's sail. They will provide shade to fellow park goers from the sun. A memorial plaque will also be purchased at both locations to keep Kaleb’s memory alive for years to come.
