Sirius Black Hospital Stay

On Friday night our family dog, Sirius Black, was not his normal puppy self. He wanted to sleep and we figured he had just gotten into something he shouldn't have. The next morning when we woke up he was struggling to breathe and had a really high temperature. Still thinking he had eaten something he wasn't supposed to we took him into the vet right away. They did some tests and took x-rays to see what was going on. His x-rays showed something that none of us expected. He was diagnosed with some sort of lung infection, and referred to the Iowa State Emergency Animal Hospital. We rushed him there where they told us he is oxygen dependent and in critical condition. Since Saturday he has been stable but not progressing. They are doing multiple tests to find out what is going on with him. They also are going to be doing a CT scan, and a lung biopsy in order to find out what they need to be treating him for. As you can imagine this will be a large hospital bill that will limit how much care we can give him. We would love to be able to bring our "Goodest Boy" home to us. He is only 14 months old, and has been is great health until now. Anything will help; if a donation cannot be made we would love to have his story shared, thoughts, prayers, love, or anything else that may help.
