Sir Robert King Stewart cup restoration

The Sir Robert King Stewart cup is a tournament of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Lanarkshire.

The cup is dated 1920, unfortunately the centenary year being last year, the tournament failed to be played, as per the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions.

The silver plating is badly needing sorted and any donations will be greatly received, to have this cup restored to it original status. This is such a beautiful cup with lots of history.

As the centenary year of the competition was unable to go ahead last year, the centenary celebration will now happen on Saturday 21/08/2021 at Victoria Bowling Club, 23 Weir St, Coatbridge ML5 3EU.

The game with start at 10am prompt with many teams throughout the province participating. The tournament shall be an all day event.

Visitors are welcome to come and show support for the teams, and in turn help support Victoria Bowling Club, they have kindly allowed the use of their club for the centenary celebration.

Should the money exceed the total amount, this would make the day more special, and allow us to present the Provincial Grand Lodge of Lanarkshire a further donation, helping them with the chosen charities for this year, all of course, going to good causes.
