Single Mum fighting extremely rare cancer

Hi I'm Becki. I'm 34. A single mum of 2 wonderful children. And on the 8th of April 2022 I was diagnosed with a rare cancer called Blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasm or BPDCN for short. It is a cancer that affects the white cells in the body, skin, blood, liver, bone marrow or other. There are about 10 cases of this type in the UK every year. Mine has been caught early and appears to be limited to the skin. However this is a highly aggressive cancer.

Treatment requires intense chemotherapy and that I have a donor stem cell transplant which means eradicating my immune system completely and starting from scratch with someone else's. 

This is a 12+ months treatment & recovery process. Due to this I have had to shut down my business, losing my main source of income and government PIP support is taking several months to process meaning I'm left in a very difficult situation paying for life, the additional costs of being ill and looking after my kids. 

Treatment will mean a lot of time away from my kids, regular hospital stays and more than 1 month in hospital for the transplant, which we've never had before, and I'm not going to be able to do a lot of our normal things during and after treatment.  

I am raising money for extra costs incurred travelling back and forth to the hospital several times a week, loss of income, extra childcare to cover appointments, cost of healthier food and supplements to give my body the best chance possible in this battle. And supporting my mum financially as she incurs extra costs looking after my children and I. 

Most expensively I need a nanny to look after the children part time during my stem cell transplant hospital stay and several months recovery period as my consultant has made it clear I will be unable to care for them myself. A nanny costs £1500+ a month part time plus agency fees, fuel costs and payroll company.
