DIRE NEED SINGLE MOM & CHILD NEED HELP NOW

In this world of being a single mom, it is often so hard to keep afloat!  I am reaching out to help another mom as I would hope and pray someone would be there to help me.

I have a dear friend in my community who has a son my son's age, 9, and is facing EVICTION and loss of POWER  for her home if she does not have $5000 to cover these costs in the next week. She is behind in both with no other options available.

She is a law-abiding, hard-working mama.  She always gives of herself and is probably one of the kindest people I have ever met.  She would do anything for her son to keep him safe and protected and has fought a long, hard battle in family court to do so.  But, as a result is now out of funds and lost her job.  She is in desperate need of our help.

These additional court expenses and loss of her job as well as barely any child support have made it tight.  So tight that she is about to lose the only home her child has known.  She isn't sleeping, she isn't eating.  She is scared to death.  She needs our help.

While she wouldn't even think to do this for herself, I am asking for your help so that we can save her from losing her home and power.  She doesn't have family to help. I would be in this exact same position if my family hadn't been able to help me after my divorce. 

You know how they say we're all just a couple of paychecks and a couple of unexpected emergency expenses away from finding ourselves on the streets. It's so true.

I'm having to keep this anonymous due to her situation with her ex husband, fear for her own safety, and her child's privacy, etc.

But I promise you these funds will go directly to her rent and utilities.

I can share with you as we raise funds and donate to her to show her that there is a light at the end of this incredibly dark and scary tunnel.  

As a recruiter, I have already helped her with her resume and connections. I don't have the funds to help her myself but am helping in every way I can.
